Charles P. Carter's Obituary
Mr. Charles P. Carter, age 74, passed away Friday, August 22, 2008 at Poppen House. He was born in Muskegon on November 16, 1933 to Victor and Anna (Schmuker) Carter. He was former owner and operator of Charlie’s Blueberries in Fruitport. Charlie was an avid fisherman and gardener with special attention to Dahlia flowers. SURVIVORS include: 1 daughter, Valerie (Patrick) Gendregske of Spring Lake; 2 sons, Ronald Carter of Bitely, MI and Brian (Ann) Carter of Muskegon; 1 brother, George (Zelma) Carter of Muskegon; 1 sister, Delores Loyselle of Muskegon; 1 grandson, Gregory Carter of Grant, MI and 1 great-grandson, Rowan; also special friends, David and Robbie Snider; and former wife, Barbara Carter. He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Carter, and 1 sister, Lee Ann Ellison. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held, Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. at:
