Charlotte "Chuck" M. Yelvington's Obituary
Charlotte “Chuck” Marie (Bartell) Yelvington, age 86, was surrounded with love when she went home to our Lord and Savior on October 18, 2020. Charlotte was born on July 17, 1934 to the late Louis and Thelma (Woodward) Bartell. She is survived by her three children: Cheryl (Frank) Craig of Muskegon, Lessa (David) Davis of Florida and Hershel Bowen of Muskegon; grandchildren Angela (Jeff) Bogart, Brian (Sarah) Craig, Matthew Craig, Jill Bailey, Adam Bowen and Kari Beeman; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other relatives who loved her deeply. She loved to play the piano, play bingo and go to the casinos. Charlotte had a magnetic personality which people were drawn to. She was full of much wisdom. People loved to listen to her and her life stories. She will always be remembered as the “go to” person in the family, the one who wanted to keep the family together. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and restrictions, a celebration of life will be held at a later date at the Moose Lodge in Fremont, MI. Her remains will be laid to rest at the Evanston Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Saint Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI and/or and Veterans Organization. Arrangements handled by The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444. Sign the guestbook online at www.sytsemafh.com
