Cheri L. Vanden Bosch's Obituary
Cheri L. Vanden Bosch, age 70, met her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at home. She was born on December 25, 1950 to Elsworth and Alice (Burley) Mudge in Muskegon, MI. She was a faithful servant of Our Lord and was a member of Real Friend Bible Church. In her earlier years, Cheri dedicated 15-20 years working as a nurse’s aide at Hillcrest Nursing Home. After working there, she worked at Howmet for ten years before she retired. On January 8, 2000 she married David Vanden Bosch in Muskegon, MI. Together they cherished 21 years of marriage filled with so many memories. Cheri was a faithful woman and loved her Lord, she enjoyed sharing his word to others. She also had a passion for cooking, baking, and canning! She loved having people over and providing a home cooked meal. She will always be remembered for her generosity and willingness to help others. She was a kind and tender-loving soul who will be missed by many. She is survived by her loving husband, David Vanden Bosch; 2 children, Cyndi (Benn) Spann and Michael (Angela) Nicholes; stepdaughter, Iris (Nick) Elko; 7 grandchildren, Michael, Danny, Dixie, Zackarie, Mackenzie, Becca, and Gage; 3 great-grandchildren with one on the way; sister, Carla (Gary) Hoffmeyer; brother, Mike (Jaci) Mudge; stepbrother, Rob (Sherry) Houghton; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Mudge. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Ranee Nicholes; son, Floyd Nicholes; brother, Rock Mudge; and granddaughter, Samantha. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Real Friend Bible Church, 2065 W. Giles Rd., Muskegon, MI 49445.
