Cheryl L. Black's Obituary
Cheryl L. Black, age 71, passed away Monday, October 18, 2021 in Holland, MI. She was born June 30, 1950 in Muskegon to Gus and Eleanore (Twining) Bray. Cheryl graduated from Fruitport High School and had worked at Walmart for 18 years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and going to local tracks to watch family members race. But more importantly, was her love of family. They were her everything. Cheryl will be greatly missed by her daughter, Tammy Jo (Steve) Spieles of Fruitport; step-children: Brian (Katie) Black of Minnesota and Dawn (Larry) Benninger of Muskegon; 9 grandchildren: Tyler Bays, Brody and Megan Spieles, Chris, Corey, and Cady Black, Joshua and Kayley Black, and Nathan Benninger; 5 great-children: Julia Harper, Aelle Bays, Jace Black, Natasha and Trent Benninger; 3 brothers: Stanley (Shirley) Bray, Robert (Beth) Bray, and David (Joyce) Twining; sister, Charlotte Needem; and many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Black; granddaughter, Danielle Spieles; grandson, Robert Benninger; brother, Daryl Bray; and sister, Arlene Bray. A Memorial Visitation for Cheryl will be held from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Monday, October 25, 2021 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S.
