Mrs. Cheryl Anne Hancock's Obituary
Mrs. Cheryl Anne Hancock, age 54, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, April 14, 2014. Cheryl was born October 15, 1959 in Muskegon to Harry and Esther (Baldwin) Logan. Cheryl was a lifelong resident of this area. On June 17, 2006, she married Ricky Hancock and he survives her. Cheryl had been employed at Grand Haven Brass and Hackley Hospital’s Northwood Unit. She was very passionate about playing pool and had won numerous awards and trophies throughout the years. In addition to her husband, Ricky, Cheryl is survived by her sister, Ruth Naomi (Randall) Umfleet of Lansing; brother, William “Bill” (Joyce) Logan of Fostoria, OH; mother and father -in-law, Dale and Janice Hancock; several nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Nancy Kubon. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Dorthea May; and her brother, David D. Logan. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11 AM Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Lakeside Baptist Church, 2250 Denmark St. with Rev. John Frank and Rev. Leslie Lew co-officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service (10-11 AM) at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ricky.
