Cheryl Lee Schultz's Obituary
Cheryl Lee Schultz, age 72, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was born in Muskegon on November 26, 1952 to Sherman and Lois (Olsen) Moore. Cheryl dedicated over 45 years of her life to the dental field, working alongside Dr. Brian Cilla, DDS at West Michigan Periodontics and Dr. Eugene Bonofiglo, DDS. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Cheryl was a member of the Fruitport Eagles and Kent County 4-H, channeling her lifelong passion for animals into caring for her beloved horses, Hollywood, Print, and Winston and three beloved dogs, Lucky, Max, and Sophie. In her free time, Cheryl found joy in sewing, reading, traveling and attending concerts, with a particular fondness for the music of the Eagles, Don Henley, and many country western artists. Cheryl will be deeply missed for her boundless energy, infectious zest for life, and love of all things sparkly. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Schultz; four daughters, Renee (John) Dix, Holly (Adam) VandenToorn, Kimberly (Dan) Walsh, and Kelsey (Wilmer) Huisman; step-sons, Ryan (Amanda) Schultz and Brandon (Theresa) Schultz; eight grandchildren, Megan (Sam) Hoesch, Madeline Dix, Hannah Dix, Emma VandenToorn, Leo VandenToorn, Ava VandenToorn, Chyles Schultz and Katelyn Walsh; one great-grandson, Fletcher Hoesch; and sister, Kathy (Steve) Mason. She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Robert Moore and Cindy Moore. A CELEBRATION OF HER LIFE will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 15, 2025 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444.
