Cheryl Ann Siscoe's Obituary
Cheryl Ann Siscoe, age 75, of Muskegon, MI passed away on December 9th, 2021. Cheryl was born in Muskegon on August 4, 1946, to Robert and Donna (Peterson) Siscoe. A graduate of Reeths Puffer High School, she went on to work for the Department of Corrections for 32 years before retiring. Cheryl enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially while golfing. She golfed for many years at the Lincoln Golf Club, including in the travel league, and was also a former President of the West Michigan’s Woman’s Golf Association. Without question, she was the best dressed woman on any golf course. Cheryl was a survivor of breast cancer, and she could always be counted on to do things her way. Cheryl will be lovingly remembered by her two sons: Jeffery (Laura) and Gregory Long; brother, John (Karen) Siscoe; two sisters: Vicki Hallberg and Linda Siscoe; five grandchildren: David Long, Sarah (Tim) Loeffler, Nate Long, Jeanna Long, and Maxwell Hubbard; and three great-grandchildren: Carter, Abram, and Jonah Loeffler. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be taking place at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services at 11:00 on Thursday, December 16, with a memorial visitation taking place on Wednesday, December 15 from 5:00-7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Cheryl can be made out to Mercy Health Comprehensive Breast Center or Every Woman’s Place.
