Christin "Tina" Connolly's Obituary
Christin “Tina” Ann Connolly, age 56, passed away in Muskegon, MI, on Sunday, January 14, 2024, after a short battle with cancer. Tina was born on June 29, 1967, in Dayton, OH, to George and Lucille (Halm) Fisher. She graduated from Muskegon High School and went on to receive a degree in criminal justice from Ferris State University. She proudly served in the United States Army and National Guard, deploying with the 1436th engineering company to Balad, Iraq, and back home she was very involved in WINC, an organization that supports female veterans. On December 17, 1993, she married Kevin Connolly after meeting him while stationed at Fort Eustis in Virginia, and the two of them spent 30 wonderful years together. Family was everything to Tina and she loved spending time with them whenever she could, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed hosting family events that brought the family closer together. She enjoyed listening to musicals, especially Phantom of the Opera, and one of her favorite places to be on their boat out on Lake Michigan in the summer.
Tina will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Kevin Connolly; four children: Melissa (Andrew) Tyler, Frederick (Jennie Eastling) Fitzgerald III, Sean Connolly, and Eric Connolly; seven grandchildren: Byanka Kemp, Breanna Kemp, Billie Hale, Lillie Ann Sumlin, Frederick Fitzgerald IV, Riley Fitzgerald, and Jamie Fitzgerald; parents, George and Lucille Fisher; three brothers: Peter Fisher, Paul (Tameka) Fisher, and Benjamin Fisher; three sisters: Rebecca Ogradowski, Mary (Jeffrey) Whitlow, and Sarah Fisher; two nieces, Tamera and Athena Fisher; uncle, Larry (Susan) Halm; and many other extended relatives and friends.
