Christina Bartrand's Obituary
Mrs. Christina Bartrand, age 87, died Wednesday, December 3, 2003 in Muskegon. She was born on March 22, 1916 to Fred & Dillie (Boxell) Byall, and had resided most of her life in the Muskegon area. Mrs. Bartrand retired from S.D. Warren in July of 1972 where she had been employed for 23 years. Mrs. Bartrand had attended Fellowship Reformed Church for many years, she loved to cook and especially spending time with her grandchildren. On September 9, 1933 she married Ishmael Bartrand, and he preceded her in death on November 29, 1972. SURVIVORS include 5 children, Rosemary (John) Delis of Rapid City, MI, Jack E. Bartrand and Sandra (Marvin) Morris both of Muskegon, Nancy (Bill) Hentschel of N. Muskegon, Diane (Alfred) Weberg of Twin Lake; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 1 sister, Dortha Baker of Clearwater, FL. Mrs. Bartrand was also preceded in death by 1 sister, Berdena Sikkenga. SERVICES will be 1 PM Friday at
Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 with Rev. Jerry Worrel officiating. VISITATION with the family will be this evening from 6-8 PM. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions to the Hackley Hospital Cancer Center or Brookhaven Medical Care Facility Transportation Fund for the Elderly would be appreciated.
