I am so sorry for the family's loss. She was a wonderful woman.
Chris had a warm and caring heart. She was always volunteering for events at the school. Her enthusiasm was always apparent. She loved teaching and working with kids. I wish your family the best as you transition without your mom.
Sending much love and hugs to Chris’ family. We are keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers. It is a great sadness…remembering her sweet smile and the fun visiting her Dearborn home during our High school years. Love to all..

Jennifer, Cory, Lexie - your mom was the first person we met when my kid’s dad and I moved to Grand Haven in the early 80’s after graduating from college. Your parents were our landlords and became our friends. You all even lived next door to us in the duplexes on Robbins Road. Your mom was always very kind to me and helped me to find my way as a newcomer to this area. I’m deeply sorry for your loss.
Mrs. Oosting always projected a warm, calm, joyful presence. This includes the times when my friends and I perhaps weren't owed that warmth when we were being rowdy either in the Oosting family home or at school. She and her daughters will always be among my most positive memories of figuring out life in my teenage years. - Jake Williams
