Christopher Aaron Becker's Obituary
The family of Christopher Aaron Becker, of Spring Lake, Michigan, is saddened to announce his passing, surrounded by those he loved, on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024, at the age of 50 years. He was born on May 13, 1974, in Lynchburg, Virginia to Glenn and Beverlee (Hagensieker) Becker. Chris graduated from Birch Run High School and earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Ferris State University.
Chris had a career as a salesman focusing mostly on semi-trailer sales, but also sold cars and service parts. He was enthusiastic about many things, including boating, skiing, mountain biking, camping, snowmobiling, and spending time at the cabin. He was passionate about his time with family and friends and making the most memorable memories possible. Over the years Chris spoke fondly of his family dogs and had a special place in his heart for Bailey, Sadie, and grand dog Charlie. You often could find Chris volunteering for his kids’ school events like popping popcorn, being a classroom parent, signing up for the WATCH D.O.G.S. Program, or being slope-slide for the high school ski team.
Chris is survived by his wife, Stacey, children Cole and Abrielle, and MaKayla and Abbigail Kozal; brother, Shaun (Kaelei) Becker and brother-in-law David (Christine) Hulbert; nieces, Julianna and Paislei Becker and Kaylee Hulbert; nephew, Colin Hulbert; mother-in-law, Ruth Hulbert; and his children's mother, Honey Becker. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Spring Lake High School - Ski Team Club (16140 148th Ave, Spring Lake, MI 49456). Cole and Abrielle participated on the ski team and Chris found great joy watching them race.
Arrangements entrusted to The Spring Lake Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services (213 E. Savidge, Spring Lake, MI 49456). To share special memories with the family and sign the online guestbook, please visit www.sytsemafh.com.
