Mr. Christopher C. Burroughs' Obituary
Mr. Christopher C. Burroughs, age 34, died unexpectedly Friday, July 13, 2012 in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon on January 4, 1978 to Charles G. and Laura C. (Burch) Burroughs, II, and was a life resident of the area. Christopher was employed by Westshore Medical as a home health care assistant and was a member of the LTBB Odawa Indians. He was very computer savvy and enjoyed quest games that engaged his mind. Chris enjoyed music, sports, and had a great sense of humor that always made his family laugh. Most importantly, Chris loved his family, especially his son and his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his son, Brock S. Burroughs; his mother, Laura C. Burroughs; his girlfriend, Bonnie Ray; 2 sisters, Misti M. (Junior) Porter and Crystal R. (Scott) Suttorp; his half-brother, Charles G. Burroughs, III; and nieces and nephews, Amanda, Nicole, Brennan, Hunter, Nella “Ya-Ya”, Niah; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and close friend, Dennis Harris. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles G. Burroughs, II. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 2:00 PM Saturday, July 21, 2012, at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100. VISITATION will be from 5-8 PM Friday and 1 hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS to the Brock S. Burroughs Education Fund, C/O Laura Burroughs would be appreciated.
