Christopher Michael Dykstra's Obituary
Mr. Christopher Michael “Smiley” Dykstra, age 43, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at his home in Battle Creek, Michigan. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on October 11, 1977 and attended Central Assembly Church. Chris was employed by Prairie Farms. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and being outdoors. He was also a talented artist. Chris is survived by his daughters, Kelsey Persoon and Murynn Grabe; one granddaughter, Isla Wallis; his mother, Cindy Dykstra; four sisters, Bobbi (Randy) Northrup, Danielle (Michael) Hoekwater, Jessica Hatcher, and Kelley Brice; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins; his fiancée, Amber; and his beloved dogs, Cyrus and Riot. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Dykstra. A CELEBRATION OF CHRIS’ LIFE will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Central Assembly Church (896 Home St, Muskegon, MI 49442) with Rev. Wally Reames officiating. VISITATION with his family will be from 11AM – 1PM Saturday prior to his service. Burial will be in Sullivan Township Cemetery.
