Christopher J. Flejszar's Obituary
Christopher J. Flejszar, age 69, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at home, surrounded by his family. He was born on January 8, 1957, to Chester and Sally (Collinge) Flejszar in Muskegon. Chris worked at Tri City Tool and Die, Dura Automotive, and the MAISD, teaching machining classes before retiring. He enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing, hunting, camping, and traveling around the country. On February 19, 2002, he married JoAnn Manor in Muskegon. She survives him, along with his children, Jason (Stephanie) Flejszar, Amanda (Kevin) Mullane, and Kristen (fiancé, Derek Hobart) Flejszar; 6 grandchildren, and sister, Constance (Charles) Schrup along with many nieces and nephews. Chris was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Stephen Flejszar, and, most recently, his sister, Cindy Sawyer. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place, and he will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Muskegon.
