Christopher J. Mancuso's Obituary
Christopher John Mancuso, age 54, passed away unexpectedly in Muskegon, MI, on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Chris was born in Muskegon on June 26, 1969, to Albert Sr. and Phyllis (Napierkowski) Mancuso. He graduated from Mona Shores High School in 1988 and then went on to work as a delivery driver for UPS for over 30 years. Growing up, Chris enjoyed spending summers in Canada with family, keeping busy with sports, particularly hockey, and fully embraced the 80’s hair metal band culture. Chris was very social, known to many around town as their friendly UPS delivery driver, and was always quick with a joke. He spent many winters snowmobiling in Northern Michigan and summers playing golf and tennis with his children, Jasmine and Chandler Mancuso, who he loved dearly. In retirement, Chris cherished time spent with friends and family, frequently visiting his mom. Chris will be lovingly remembered by his two children: Jasmine and Chandler Mancuso; mother, Phyllis Mancuso; three siblings: Albert Mancuso Jr, Cindy (Larry) Hysell, and Lisa (Jim) Geresy; niece, Ashley (Justin) Hysell-Frazier; nephew, Christian Geresy; and great niece, Genevieve Frazier. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Mancuso Sr, and nephew, Brandon Hysell. A MEMORIAL VISITATION will be taking place for Christopher from 5:30-7:30 PM on Thursday, July 27, 2023, in The Family Center of The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI, 49444.
