We buried our Mom and brother a week a go today 112213. We were 10 now we are 7 and 3 up. Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord and let perpetual light shine on them. May they rest in peace Amen. May the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen

Chris was admired and loved by everyone at the Clubhouse. His spirited personality and the positivity he brought to us will be greatly missed, not to mention his wonderful smile! He always had an upbeat outlook on life and offered a good story to anyone with a listening ear. Our thoughts are with the Vanderwest family.
I have known Chris 27 years. I will remember him as a very kind, compassionate person who enjoyed making others laugh. I am glad I had the privilege to know him.
So sad for your loss. I've known Chris for over 11 years. He has always been a kind man, and he always seemed to be able to make people laugh. I know he often talked about "Mom", so even though it's a double heartbreak for your family, I believe it's a blessing for Chris, that Mom is in Heaven, there to welcome him home. ((hugs))
