Christopher J. Ernvall's Obituary
Mr. Christopher J. Ernvall, 41, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 26, 2009. Born Sept. 14, 1967 to Joel B. and Linda J. (Jones) Ernvall, he was a life resident of Muskegon. Chris was a member of McGraft Memorial Congregational Church where he had served as Moderator and Chairman of the Board of Trustees. He was President of the Muskegon Big Red Athletic Foundation and gave his time and talents to many other local organizations and patriotic causes. He had been employed as a stockbroker at Morgan Stanley, and had previously been employed at Robert W. Baird Co. and John Hancock. His SURVIVORS include his son, James Christopher Ernvall; his fiancée, Dionne Tomorsky-Dibble and his stepdaughter Madeline Dibble; his parents: Joel Ernvall and his fiancée Kim Kuznar, and Linda (Ernest) Fordham; and his sister, Carrie (Bob) Chase all of Muskegon; step-siblings: Lori (Greg) Lear of Naples, FL, Ernest (Traci) Fordham III of Charleston, WV and Deanna (Steven) Kohl of West Bloomfield, MI; his grandfather, Robert E. Jones of Muskegon; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as many friends. Chris was predeceased by his grandparents, Marilyn Jones and James and June Ernvall. Friday, July 31, 2009, followed by a MEMORIAL SERVICE at 2:00 P.M. with Dr. Gerald Wahr officiating. In lieu of flowers, MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS to Muskegon Big Red Athletic Foundation or The West Michigan Chapter of the James Fund for widows and children of fallen service personnel who served in Iraq and Afghanistan would be appreciated.
