Claire W. Leach's Obituary
Mr. Claire W. Leach, age 78, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 at a local hospital. Mr. Leach was born March 29, 1934 to Lenly and Hazel (Arthurholtz) Leach in Muskegon and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a self-employed contractor. Claire had a good sense of humor and was the master of the ‘one liners’. He joked with everyone. He was a hard worker and had a love for Muskegon history. Claire is SURVIVED by his children, Deb (Keith) Cooper of Jenison, Pam (Thomas) Carron and Brenda Leach, all of Muskegon, Tim (Nancy) Leach of Zeeland; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; his brother, Robert (Jane) Leach; his sister, Louise Carey; and his extra special friend of 32 years, Florence Bright. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Diane Leach and Faith Leach Wilkerson. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 19, 2012 at The Sytsema Chapel 737 Apple Avenue 231 726-5210 VISITATION will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday. Burial will be in Laketon Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to International Aid.
