I was unable to say much during that time. It was very special for me to sit and watch as her children and grandchildren came in and sat with us, waiting and being there.Talking to mom, holding her hand, stroking her forehead, saying I love you,
just sitting and watching as she was in the process of passing from this world to heaven.
That we were able to be there was very special to me.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of remembering the life of Clara...how she impacted you and nurtured your walk with the Lord. It is a wonderful thing when we can look back and see how we have been helped to know the Lord and strengthened in our walk with Him by others. I know your mother/mother-in-law had such an impact on you as well as on many others!

My last visit with her was a few years back. She sharing all the old stories of her younger years;she didn't seem to forget a thing. Of course, showed me all the new pictures of her great great grandchildren.
