Clara J. Christian's Obituary
Clara J. Christian, age 80, passed away Thursday morning, December 3, 2009 in Muskegon. She was born March 6, 1929 to Earl and Dora (Rollenhagen) Christian in Muskegon, and was a life resident. Clara worked at Mercy Hospital for 29 years before retiring, enjoyed reading, crocheting, loving and caring for her family. SURVIVORS include 1 daughter, Kelly J. Anderson of Muskegon; 2 grandchildren, Emily J. and Kaitlyn E. Anderson; 1 great-grandson, Brayden Mahnke; nieces, Jo Settle and Debra (Ron) Voss; great niece, Stacy (Tim)Bosch; several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Robert, Joseph, Marty Christian; 1 sister, Minnie Settle. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Monday at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. (231) 726-5210 with Rev. Greg VanderMeer officiating. Burial will take place at Ravenna Cemetery.
