Mr. Clarence Richard Doctor's Obituary
Mr. Clarence “Doc” Richard Doctor, age 91, passed away on March 3, 2015. Clarence was born on April 9, 1923 to Carl and Edith Doctor. He served his country proudly during WWII. After the war he married the former Elaine Peck on July 6, 1948 and together they were blessed with 3 children. Clarence worked for The Paper Mill in Muskegon for over 40 years until his retirement in 1984. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, hunting and bowling. The greatest enjoyment in his life was always his family. He was a fun, hardworking man who will be deeply missed. He is SURVIVED by his wife of 66 years Elaine; children, Sandra (Virgil) Perkins, Larry (Kathy) Doctor, and Roger (Brenda) Doctor; 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; and brother, Walter Doctor. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Wallace and Carl Doctor. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on Friday March 6, 2015 at 10AM at The Sytsema Chapel 737 Apple Ave 231-726-5210. VISITATION will be held Thursday from 5-7PM. Memorial Contributions can be made to Harbor Hospice.
