Clarence M. Jensen's Obituary
Mr. Clarence M. Jensen, age 88, died early Tuesday morning October 9, 2007. He was born September 30, 1919 in Crystal Twp., MI to Arthur and Esther (Andreas) Jensen. Mr. Jensen was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Pacific as a medic. He worked for Teledyne Continental Motors Co. for 37 years before retiring in 1981. Mr. Jensen was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, enjoyed spending time with his family, was an avid outdoorsman, and carpenter. On May 18, 1946 he married the former Bertha H. VanAgtmael, and she survives him along with 9 children, Ronald (Ann) Jensen of North Muskegon, James (Ruth) Jensen of Ravenna, Daniel (fiancée, Geri) Jensen of Muskegon, Marilyn (Daniel) Lipka of Medina, Ohio, Fr. Larry Jensen of Waterville, Maine, Frank (Laurie) Jensen of Northville, MI, Kevin (Annie) Jensen of Muskegon, Wayne (Julie) Jensen of Norton Shores, Denise (Steven) Bizon of Traverse City, MI; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Nels Jensen, Raymond (Mabel) Jensen; sister, Betty (Jack) Farmer; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 1 sister. THE FUNERAL LITURGY will be celebrated 1:00 PM Friday at St. Thomas Catholic Church (3252 Apple Ave.) with her son, the Rev. Fr. Larry Jensen presiding. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Mausoleum. VISITATION with the family will be from 6-8 PM Thursday at
