Mrs. Clarise J. Scanlon's Obituary
Mrs. Clarise June (Richardson) Scanlon, age 80, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 in Sebring, Florida. She was born June 9, 1934 in Muskegon to Clarence and Margaret (Mulder) Wagner. Mrs. Scanlon was a member of Fifth Reformed Church and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and quilting. She especially enjoyed going to Florida during the winter. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family. On April 15, 1953 she married Ken Richardson in Muskegon and was married 45 years before he preceded her in death on March 5, 1998. She then married Robert L. Scanlon on September 11, 1999 and he survives her along with her children: Jodie (Mark) Pulsipher, Jackie (Evan) Schiltz, Jerri (Jon) Baucher; Bob’s children: Roger (Gayle) Scanlon, Ron (Dorene) Scanlon, Rochelle (Don) Westhof; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Eloise Boersema. SERVICES will be 11:30 AM Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100, with Rev. Paul Burmeister officiating. VISITATION will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday and one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Laketon Twp. Cemetery. MEMORIALS to the Fifth Reformed Church Building Fund will be appreciated.
