Clark B. Branch's Obituary
Clark B. Branch, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in Fort Myers, FL. He was born on December 4, 1921 to Clare and Margaret (Ingalls) Branch in Mears, MI. On October 24, 1981 he married the former Ruth A. Beld and they spent many happy years together. Clark was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He served his country proudly in WWII and the Korean Conflict. Clark worked for United Airlines as a station agent for 33 years until his retirement in 1980. In his retirement Clark enjoyed traveling and wintering in Florida. He is survived by his loving wife; children, Marvin E. (Catherine) Branch, Diane R. (Mike) Sodini, Bruce C. Branch; step-son, Larry A. Beld; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy and Florence. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Wihelmina Karreman; 5 siblings; and step daughter-in-law, Paula Beld. A FUNERAL SERVICE for Clark will be held at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231-798-1100) at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 30, 2016. VISITATION with the family will be held a half hour prior to services at the funeral home.
