Claude E. Long's Obituary
Mr. Claude E. Long, age 63, died Thursday, September 11, 2003, at his home. He was born May 15, 1940 to Donald & Marguerite (Mulvey) Long, and had resided in the Muskegon area all of his life. Mr. Long had worked at Spectra in Grand Haven for over 20 years, and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion, the Elks, and was an avid golfer. On September 1, 1961 he married the former Cora Kimberly, and she survives him along with 3 children, Don (Joni) Long of Twin Lake, Michael (Pamela) Long of Muskegon, and Angela (Jon) Marvin of Dorr, MI; 6 grandchildren, Ryan, Chris, Kevin, Blake, Danielle, and Tony; 1 brother, Larry (Dede) Long of Muskegon; 5 sisters, Donna (Newman) Patterson of Muskegon, Sue (Rick) Gilbert of Novi, MI, Karen (Jim) VanDenorth of Ft. Meyers, FL, Barbara (Jack) Feutz of Elltown, FL, and Marsha Long of Muskegon. Mr. Long was preceded in death by 1 brother, Billy Long, his parents, and his mother-in-law.
