Claudia Ann Chester's Obituary
Mrs. Claudia Ann Chester, age 75, passed away peacefully Monday, May 18, 2020. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 26, 1944 to Charles and Gladys (Baker) Barrett. Claudia was a graduate of Muskegon Catholic High School, class of 1962. On June 26, 1965, Claudia married Walter D. Chester. After retirement, Claudia and Walter spent 20 years in Florida where they enjoyed trips to Sea World and Busch Gardens. She enjoyed playing BINGO, drawing, painting, and cooking. Claudia also enjoyed being involved in her community and social activities. Most importantly, she loved her family and especially enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren. She is survived, by her husband, Walter; four children, Michelle (Michael) Robinson, Walter (Catherine) Chester, Daniel (Debbie) Chester, and Kim Chester; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Claudia’s Life will be announced at a later date. MEMORIALS in her memory may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
