Cleland Leroy "Butch" Pfhistner, Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Cleland Leroy "Butch" Pfhistner, Jr., age 65, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2006 at a local hospital. He was born August 29, 1940 in Muskegon to Cleland and Helen (Simon) Pfhistner and lived most of his life in the Muskegon area. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He had lived in Florida for 20 years and owned Tiny’s Pro Bass Shop and Tournaments in Florida for 10 years. He also worked many years as a truck driver. He enjoyed playing euchre, cribbage and bingo and was an avid “Flea Marketer”. SURVIVORS include his sister, Vonnie (Mike) Murphy of Muskegon; 1 niece, Erika (Jimmy) Murphy; 2 nephews, Mike and Tom Murphy; 3 great-nephews, Michael, Ryan, and Justin; his special friend, Wendy Way; and his close friends, Rob Slusser, Larry Billett, and Debbie Klintworth. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly Pfhistner in 1993; his parents, 1 brother, Ricky Pfhistner in 1954. VISITATION with the family will be 5-8 PM Thursday at the Sytsema Funeral Home, 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210. Private family services will be held.
