Dear Gloria & family,
My condolence is with you & family in the loss of Cleo. What a very sweet friend for many years to my parents Gordon & Blanche Hoffman who will welcome her in heaven. Spoke to her a few months ago when she called and cannot make it to the funeral because we are out of state till April.
God Bless & Take Care, Terri Hoffman-Forward
Cleo was my mother-in-law for 40 years. Through those years, she was always loving to my husband Steve, myself and our 2 children, Rachel and Matthew. We live in Massachusetts, so we didn't get to see them all the time. Over the last decade, it had been harder to talk on the phone because of hearing issues. But neither of those things lessened the love and commitment to her. She was a very giving person who liked to please everyone. Matt always thinks of her whenever he makes oatmeal cookies using her recipe. She will be greatly missed by all of us. The last day that I saw Cleo was in July 2012. It was a great get together with most of the Dill descendants living in Michigan at Red Lobster the day before we were heading back to MA. My son, Matt and I were going to pick out a new puppy after dinner. Cleo wanted to go with us, even though the total drive was 5 hours. It was a lovely time for just the three of us. She held the puppy on her lap for a long time. It is a memory that we will always cherish.
Sincere condolence to the family on your loss. Cleo was a neighbor of my late parents George and Marie Micka on Hile Rd. Sincerely Ron Micka
