Clifford R. Johnson's Obituary
Mr. Clifford R. “Cliff” Johnson, age 87, passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 in Muskegon. He was born on June 13, 1930 to Alfred and Lillian (Besaw) Johnson and was a lifelong resident of the Muskegon area. Cliff had proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He married Beverly Gorenflo in 1952 and was a machinist at Teledyne Continental Motors for over 37 years prior to retiring in 1992. Clifford was an avid fan and supporter of the Oakridge community for many, many years. He enjoyed camping, boating, fishing and the casino, but foremost was always the time spent with his family. SURVIVORS include his loving wife, Beverly of 65 years; children, Vickie (Robert) Gale and Charles (Gloria) Johnson; grandchildren, Stephenie, Kim, Nate and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Brianna, Corey, Jasmine, Rylee, Alekza, Bella and Eli. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 10AM on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100. VISITATION will be held from 5-7PM Monday evening at the funeral home.
