Clyde Brown's Obituary
Mr. Clyde Brown, age 73, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at a local hospital. He was born November 26, 1933 in Ceredo Kenova, WV, to Jessie C. and Ollie (Waldon) Brown and moved to Muskegon in 1966. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Prior to retirement in 1985, Clyde worked 20 years as a janitor for C.W.C. Textron. On April 8, 1958, he married the former Margie L. Romans in Cattlestburg, KY, and she preceded him in death on April 21, 2003. Clyde came to know Jesus through his friends from Ravenna Outpouring (Apostle Richard Williams). He enjoyed the bible study gatherings at his house, and he loved to memorize bible facts and scriptures. He loved his cats. And in the past enjoyed restoring cars, yard sales, collectibles, jigsaw puzzles, card games, and favorite television programs. SURVIVORS include his daughter, Margaret Brown of Muskegon; 1 sister, Peggy (Harry) Ferguson of Canvas, WV; 2 sisters-in-law, Mary (Bill) Friend of Muskegon and Stella (Rollie) Johnson of Fruitport; and several nieces, nephews, loving neighbors and friends. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
