Clyde A. Parks 's Obituary
1SG. Clyde A. Parks, age 62, passed away on Friday June 28, 2019 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. He was born on November 28, 1956 to Robert and Carol (Carr) Parks in Muskegon. Clyde worked for GTE/Verizon Telephone company for 34 years. He proudly served in The United States Army Reserve for 27 years. During his time in the Army he was deployed to Saudi Arabia with the 180th TC out of Muskegon during 1990-1991, Afghanistan with the 406th CSB from Ann Arbor during 2003 – 2004 and worked with FEMA for two years from 2013-2014. He will be missed by so many including his loving wife, Jean Parks; children, Jeremy Hollar, Megan Parks, Kaily Parks; stepchildren, Alicia (Jason) Hall, Rachel Harden, Elisabeth (Jordan) Frentress; grandchildren, Dylan Caudill, Waylon Hall, River Frentress. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Clyde will take place on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444. A LUNCHEON will follow at The VFW Post #8845 (1061 Witham Rd.) Burial will take place at a later date in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
