Colantha L. "Cal" Nash's Obituary
Mrs. Colantha L. “Cal” Nash, age 94, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011. She was born December 4, 1917 to Joseph and Clara (King) Greenwood in Scott’s Bluff County, NEB. She married Richard “Lee” Nash Sr. in 1936, he preceded her in 1994. Cal was a member of Crestwood United Methodist Church, where she was very active in many committees. She enjoyed making greeting cards, knitting, crocheting (made hats for cancer patients), traveling, golfing and loved crafts. Cal is SURVIVED by her children, Richard L. (Muriel) Nash Jr. of North Muskegon, Jill K. (Herbert) Hunt of Montague, Laverna (Lyle) Day of Whitehall; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. She is PRECEDED in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Victor K. Greenwood, Leslie Greenwood; sisters, Grace Mote, Christine Meanea. The MEMORIAL service for Cal will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Crestwood United Methodist Church 1220 Creston, Muskegon, MI 49442. A time of VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the memorial service.
