Coleen T. Berry's Obituary
Ms. Coleen T. (Curtis) Berry, age 60, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009 in Muskegon. She was born April 6, 1949 in Muskegon to Roland and Cleo Curtis, and resided in the area for most of her life. Coleen enjoyed playing bridge and bingo and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. SURVIVORS include daughter, Gwen (Bob) Bruhnke of Ishpeming, MI, daughter of Victor Berry; 2 step-children, Tami (David) Cook and Wendy (Brian) Jorgensen both of Muskegon, children of Harold Phinney; 9 grandchildren; brother, Gary (Barb) Curtis of Las Vegas, NV; and sisters, Kay Mitchell and Janet Furman both of Muskegon; special friend, Terry Kurtzweil and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Coleen was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Cleo Curtis. MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 11:30AM Wednesday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565 with Rev. Lewis Glick officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 10:30-11:30AM Wednesday. Memorial Contributions to American Cancer Society will be appreciated.
