Connie Kay Charron's Obituary
Connie Kay Charron, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Connie was born August 8, 1947, in Saginaw, MI to Jack K. and Wealthy E. (Dalton) Krueger and lived in the Muskegon area most of her life. On July 29, 1972, she married her love, Patrick Murray Charron, in Grand Haven, MI. Connie received her bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University and worked for Muskegon Public Schools as a junior high school English teacher. Because her family had always been her first priority, Connie left teaching to be a stay-at-home mother to raise her family. Family was everything and the love she gave to her children and grandchildren is her lasting legacy. Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, Patrick Charron; son, Andrew (Shelby Kammeraad) Charron; daughter, Jennifer (Matthew) Flenar; former daughter-in-law, Lisa Charron; grandchildren, Jack Charron, Adam Flenar, John Charron, Abigail Flenar; brothers-in-law, Micheal (Maggie) Burgess, Timothy Charron, Peter (Debra) Charron, Brian (Priscilla) Charron; sister-in-law, Ann (Gary) Gunia; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, W. Jean Burgess. For those wishing to make an expression of sympathy, please consider St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or The Parkinson’s Foundation. Please remember Connie by reciting her favorite Irish Blessing: May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
