Jane and I lived next door to Connie and Al years ago at Wind Drift in Spring Lake. We have great memories of them and of the boys, especially Doug, as Rich, Craig, and Don were pretty much on their own then. Al helped me learn to let things go at the end of a hard day and also not to 'borrow' things to worry about. Connie taught us how to make and savor a pitcher of the world's finest daiquiris! And Doug, OMG, he was fascinated with our baby boy, Ryan, who was just a year old then. Also, Doug would watch for me to come home at the end of the day and meet me at the car to carry my grip in for me. Those were fun times for us and we cherish the memories.

I met Connie at a very young age while working at Dockside, it was my first job and her last. She and I instantly connected, and I spent many hours listening to her stories and life lessons.
I was blessed to have spent many hours with her in my adolescence and she influenced who I became as an adult.
Although I grew apart from Connie, she always has been in my mind. Her resilience and fire will always remain in my heart.

I have done a lot of alternations for Connie over the years, and I always enjoyed visiting with her. She was always dressed so elegantly and her stories were interesting and sometimes funny to listen to. She was a grand lady! My heart felt condolences to all of the family members.

Connie was such a lovely lady. Always dressed to go out every day even if she just stayed at home. My time with her was such a joy. I loved listening to her stories about her life and family. She made me laugh and filled my heart with love. I will deeply miss this dear lady. I know your family memories will sustain you and give you peace.
