Connie L. Helton-Bowne's Obituary
Connie L. Helton-Bowne, age 58, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2019. She was born on March 31, 1961 to Gerald and Joyce (Fyan) Helton in Muskegon. Connie was a beautiful soul who was filled with God’s love. She always had a smile on her face and always chose joy. She was a faithful member of Emmanuel Congregational Church, and she shared her faith even through her battle with cancer. Connie had a great love of reading the bible and singing Christian music. During Connie’s work life, she was employed at Hackley Hospital for over 15 years and was currently working at Radiology of Muskegon. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her beloved husband, Steve Bowne; daughter, Stefanie Lynn; step-children, Leah (Derek) Westjohn, Austin (Amanda) Bowne; sister, Cindy Whitten; grandkids, nieces, nephews, great nieces and many other close family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law, Dick Bowne. VISITATION with Connie’s family will take place on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM with a PRAYER CIRCLE starting at 7:30 PM. A FUNERAL SERVICE for Connie will take place on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the funeral home at 10:00 AM with Pastors Bill Fillmore and Keith Moreen officiating.
