Connie J. Hibbs' Obituary
Mrs. Connie J. Hibbs, age 78, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 in Twin Lake. She was born on October 20, 1940 in Santa Fe, New Mexico to Pelagio and Bernardita (Ortega) Aragon. Connie last worked at Christian Care. She enjoyed arts and crafts including ceramics, staining and painting, quilting, and collecting porcelain tea sets and stamps. On May 1, 1960 she married Herbert Hibbs, and he survives her along with seven children, Charla (Nick) Apodaca, David (Liz) Hibbs, Michael (Renee) Hibbs, Rich (Bobbette) Hibbs, Jeff Hibbs, Chris (Katie) Hibbs and John Hibbs; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and her brother, Robert Aragon. MEMORIAL SERVICES will be 3 PM Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave, (231) 726-5210. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 2-3 PM.
