Mrs. Constance Ann “Connie” Brown, age 75, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the Leila and Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence in Muskegon, Michigan. Connie was born in Douglas, Michigan on June 6, 1947 to Clare and Ann (Dekker) Wolters. On December 15, 1972, Connie married Russell Brown in Holland and they enjoyed 34 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2007. Russ and Connie traveled the world in their years together. They spent their summers on the water sailing and trawling the Great Lakes. Winters were spent at their home at King’s Gate in Nokomis, FL. They made lasting friendships over the years during their travels and at the areas they called home. Connie especially enjoyed visiting England and spending time with her friends there. She enjoyed reading, crafts of all kinds, and spending time with her family and extended family and friends. Most importantly, Connie will be remembered as a generous and loving person who blessed her family and friends throughout the years. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Karen Wolters (Darrel Schafer); brother-in-law, Lyman (Mary) Brown; and beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Russell, Connie was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Terry Wolters.
