Curt and Kristin,
Dave and I lived next door to your mom for about five years, and she took us in like we were her own. Dave and I were newlyweds and naive, and your mom was always there to give us advice and tell us how it was. 8-) She took very good care of us, including letting us stay with her while our furnace was being replaced in the middle of the winter! She helped us as we had our first and second child, guiding us, teaching us, and laughing with us. When we moved from our condo, while we didn't get much opportunity to visit, she always felt like family to us. Over the years she told us many stories about the two of you and your kids and was so proud of all of you.
We were so very blessed to have known Connie and to have her in our lives. We are better parents, and smarter adults because of your mom.
With love and prayers,

My heartfelt condolences to Connie's entire family. I knew Connie throughout school until I moved away after our junior year at Union. I remember - we rode our bikes all over, built camps in the woods, tried every candy at the neighborhood store, I made fun of her playing a drum all the way home, and we laughed and laughed. I am SO glad I was able to visit with Connie one last time at our 45th high school reunion last year. And, we laughed then, too! She will be missed a great deal by many many people.##imported-begin##Jane (Birgelaitis) Hartling##imported-end##

Curt & Kirsten,
I'm so sorry for your loss, this loss that we are all greiving. I'm going to miss Aunt Connie, there were some things we still had to do together. But i know how much she loved all of us, and that just because we can't physically see her doesn't mean she won't be there. Aunt Connie will always be in our hearts, and will be looking down on us from up above. Aunt Connie will make a beautiful angel, and i know she's in a better place now. You'll all be in my thoughts & prayers.
Love you guys,

Dear Curt and Kristen,
I am so sorry for your loss. I will so miss Connie. I loved seeing her at the cottage. I will miss her sense of humor and how real she was. When things would get crazy at the cottage with the kids, I will miss how she always put things in perspective. You both had a wonderful, kind mother. I will also miss all of her stories. Please know your in my prayers and thoughts.##imported-begin##Tracy Curtis##imported-end##
Our thoughts & countless prayers are with all of Connie's family and friends. She was so proud of her children, & those beautiful grandchildren!! Such joy all of you brought to her, especially in her difficult times. I so loved her fiesty spirit in contrast my mother's, Diane (Sietsema)Koperski. Dear, longtime friends from middle school,'one of the girls'! Connie introduced me to Kristen at the G.H. B&B during personal hardships that really brought them together. I pray to achieve the deep relationship they had as mother & daughter. We cannot possibly express our sincere compassion, &hope for this wonderful spirit to live on in our hearts. Forever missed-& forever remembered. An incredibly strong, magnificant friend, Mother, Grandmother, sister, & Christian to all. God bless you with our love & so many other's witnessed here.

To the family of Connie,
Connie and I served on the Board at First Priority of the Lakeshore at the same time; I found her to be a very generous and thoughtful person with a vibrant faith in the Lord of Glory which she shared with us. I'm so sorry that you have lost your Mother and Grandmother at such a young age. She always spoke of her children and grandchildren with much love and appreciation. I wish you all the Peace of the Lord as you go on without her physical presence. Marge & Chuck Lembke##imported-begin##Margery Lembke##imported-end##
