Cora Jean "Korkiey" Wright's Obituary
Cora “Korkiey” Wright, age 48, passed away peacefully at home, Wednesday morning with her family at her side following a courageous battle with cancer. Cora was born in Muskegon on July 29, 1963 to Duwayne and Carol (Beck) Wright and was a 1982 graduate of Orchard View H.S. She furthered her education at M.C.C., Baker College and Ferris State University. Miss Wright was employed in medical records at Mercy Hospital. Cora is survived by: her loving father, Duwayne Wright of Muskegon; sister BaLinda Payne of Muskegon; brother, Charles (Leona) Wright of Grand Haven; five nieces and nephews, Cody (Donna), Brittany, Colton, Brianna & Harley; several, aunts, uncles & cousins; and her precious cats and dogs. She was preceded in death by her mother in September 2008. The family will celebrate her life with a visitation of family and friends at: The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S.
