Craig L. "Mouse" Harpe's Obituary
Craig L. “Mouse” Harpe, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 8, 2013. A loving and devoted husband, son, father, brother and grandfather, Craig was a lifetime resident of the Lakeside neighborhood. He was married to his best friend, Kristi Fielding, in August 1982, and they shared a family of 3 children. Craig retired from the Carpenters Union Local 100 chapter in 2008, after contributing to a number of construction projects around the Muskegon area. A hunting enthusiast and lover of Western movies, he will be remembered as an eccentric spirit and will be missed as a wonderful storyteller, especially by his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Kristi; 3 children, Natalie (Dale) Harpe-Moler of Shepherd, MI, Candace (Jerry) Peterson and Jason Harpe both of Muskegon; he was known as “Papa” to his 3 grandchildren, Miah, Matthew, and Analee; his mother, Peg Harpe; brother, Scott (Michelle) Harpe; and sister, Renee (Paul) Turner. Craig was preceded in death by his father, Larry Harpe in 2011; and best friend, Alex Thurston. A MEMORIAL VISITATION will be 1-4PM Tuesday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W.
