Curtiss M. McClain's Obituary
Curtiss M. “Curt” McClain, 86, went to be with his Lord and Savior January 26, 2023. He was born February 20, 1936, to Willis and Barbara (Anderson) McClain in Muskegon. Curt’s life was dedicated to helping others and he was the founder of Christian Life Center. On June 10, 1955, he married Marilyn J. Bradford and she preceded him in death on June 9, 2020. He later married Judith Grenell on December 29, 2020, and she survives him along with five children: Sharon (Tim) Hensley, Stephen (Michelle) McClain, Ellen (Jeffrey Gutierrez), Ruth (Steve) Johnson, Martha (Mark) Carrier; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; 10 siblings, Chrystal Wilson, Audrey Hendrickson, Victor McClain, Sherrill French, Lorren McClain, Phillip McClain, Ester Luckett, Brent McClain, Bruce McClain, and Weldon McClain. He was also preceded in death by Willis and Barbara McClain (parents) and Conrad, Bryan and Mark (brothers). The funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 31, at 11:00 AM at Christian Life Center, 16765 Hemlock Dr., Spring Lake, 49456. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery in Fruitport. Contributions in memory of Curt McClain may be made to Western Michigan Teen Challenge, 440 E Pontaluna Rd, Muskegon, MI 49444 . Arrangements have been entrusted to The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444.
