I was blessed to get to know Cindy at Bethany Church. She is such a great role model for living the Christian Life. She truly was a giving person. I enjoyed working in the kitchen preparing the meal for twice fed. I was amazed at her ability to put meals together and how she prepared them without measuring ingredients! She was so talented and used her gifts to Glory God. I will be forever grateful for getting to know Cindy and hope I can follow her in foot steps. Cindy will be greatly missed. Family and friends should be extremely proud of the life she lived!
This page would be overflowing if I typed all the fond memories that Cindy left me with.
Shopping for Christmas trees (she insisted on having a tree up, the Friday after Thanksgiving.-Oh that "rotating" tree stand, the amazed Momma Kendall and others.
Breakfast break at Steak and Egger -sometimes with Felicia (affectionately nicknamed "Felix"=the black cat!)
A water fight that was won by me, after secretly climbing on my roof, with a 5 gallon pail of water.
Coffee break at the Villa-when the first "Tower" was hit.
Blueberries being dropped off (from guess where?)
A "get in shape" walk around my block-in my area, a "block" is a seven mile trek-with several stops to admire the flowers in the roadside ditches.
Eddie hockey games.
Visiting me in my one and only hospital stay, after suffering a stroke in 2016-bring me a "home-cooked" pot roast meal'
Driving me to and from "Generation Care" for rehab.
Just to name a few.
I remember Cyndi from 50 years ago when we graduated with the Reeths-Puffer High School class of 1971. We went on to being idealistic young Democratics volunteering to work on many campaigns. Cyndi was a joy to know. I still smile at the thought of her even today. May God comfort all her family and friends as we grieve her loss, even while celebrating her life.
I met her when she worked at pioneer resources, she was fun and had a great heart
My deepest condolences. Cyndi was always such an advocate and fan for her kids. I am so grateful to have partnered with you and the kids. Rest well friend. Kids, I am here for you.
Mr. Lane
