Cyril David Moran Jr's Obituary
Cyril David Moran Jr., passed away peacefully at home on March 19, 2022, surrounded with the Love of our Lord and his beautiful family. Dave was born on February 16, 1942 to the late Cyril and Agnes (O'Shinski) Moran. Dave proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1960-1964. Dave is survived by his loving wife Helen (Stuhan) Moran of 56 years. They were blessed with two wonderful sons, Daniel Moran and Timothy (Barbara) Moran as well as three grandchildren, Jessica (Bruno) Gusso, Joseph Moran and Dakota Puffinberger. He also has two great grandchildren-Leo Anthony and Everly Rose Gusso. He had been preceded in death by his parents and three sisters and one brother. He is survived by two sisters, Patricia (William) Sorenson and Rosemarie (Joseph) Putt and two brothers William (Purita) Moran and Michael Moran. Dave worked for Kaydon Corporation for 37 years before retiring in 2001. After retiring, Dave and Helen spent a few years RVing and eventually spending their winters in Yuma Arizona where Dave loved riding his quad and going to the flea market often. Throughout his life, Dave's favorite pass time was "tinkering" and "Gerry rigging", always trying to find a way of improving things. His family will love, miss and appreciate him forever! Per Dave's request, he has been cremated and there will be a private service at a later date.
Memorials may be directed to: Richard DeVos Heart & Lung Transplant Program in memory of his double lung transplant, Harbor Hospice of Muskegon or a charity of your choice. (Please no Flowers)
