Dale C. Carr's Obituary
Dale C. Carr, age 79, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 27, 2024. He was born March 19, 1945 in Muskegon to Cornelius and Rose (Butts) Carr. On July 7, 1967, Dale married the love of his life of 56 years, Sandra Carlisle. Sandra survives him along with their Canine "Kids" Eli, Rachel, and their puppy Sam, sisters-in-law, Karen Richards and Judy Lynn Carlisle; nephews, Fredrick (Brandy) Kaiser, Jr, Tom (Karen) LeMieux and Charlie (Deborah) Richards; and Dale's brother Fred's children Robert, Cindy, John, Tom, Pam, and Kathy. Dale was the owner and operator of Carr's Landscape Supplies. His love for beautiful cars, new or old and trucks was unmistakable. Dale found joy in exploring new destinations, particularly their annual pilgrimage to Key West, Florida in March and several trips to Europe. Dale delighted in capturing moments and creating cherished memories for Sandy and others with his photography. His hard work ethics was evident in all aspects of his life. Dale was preceded in death by his parents and brother Frederick (Judy) Carr. VISITATION will be 2-4pm Sunday, May 5th at the Lee Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES will be at 11 AM, Monday, May 6th at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, Mi 49444 (231)798-1100 with Pastor Carlos Ramos officiating. Memorial Contributions in Dale's name to Noah Project will be appreciated.
