Dale Lewis McKee's Obituary
Dale Lewis McKee, age 88, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023, in Grand Rapids, MI. He was born August 4, 1935, in Greenville, MI, to Lewis and Alice (Pierce) McKee. He attended Greenville High School and graduated in 1954. After high school, Dale served his country in the United States Navy. On May 11, 1963, he married Gloria Jean Hansen. Dale worked as a draftsman/designer for over 35 years for various companies in West Michigan.
He was an extremely talented artist and created works of art related to people, animals and special requests. He was also a skilled craftsman and enjoyed woodworking as well as fishing. He liked a good conversation and was known as a jokester. Dale also had a strong faith in Jesus Christ.
Dale will be dearly missed by his wife, Gloria; sons, David (DeeDee) McKee and Scott McKee; grandchildren, Kaylee McKee, Kristopher (Hunter) McKee, Connor (Kinsey) McKee, Abby McKee, Randy Veihl and Ashley Veihl; great grandchildren, Kade Mueller, Kolton McKee and Kinzlee McKee; and sister, Joan (Lloyd) Dickerson. He was preceded in death by his parents.
