Dale Ronald Schindlbeck's Obituary
On Thursday, August 22, 2024, we lost the most special husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and son-in-law that we could have ever hoped for, Dale Ronald Schindlbeck, age 77. He lived a purposed life of loving his family, helping his neighbors, fishing, hunting, and enjoying every minute of it. He will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Dale was born September 2, 1946, in Aurora, Illinois to Glenn Henry, and Betty Jean (Griff) Schindlbeck. He married Marcella “Marcy” Gonzalez, on August 22, 1992, in Spring Lake. He was a sheet metal worker for Bastian Blessing, Windword and retired from Shape Corporation in 2012.
Dale is lovingly remembered by his wife, Marcella “Marcy” Schindlbeck; two daughters, Dori Schindlbeck and Felecia (Heidi) Greene; son, Charles Greene; seven grandchildren: Maggie, Mollie, Maizie, Isabella, Selena, Logan, and Kirianna “KiKi”; father-in-law, Prudencio Gonzalez; two sisters, Marlene Hall and Christine Berry; three brothers: Glenn (Brenda) Schindlbeck, Michael (Judy) Schindlbeck, and Eric (Diane) Schindlbeck; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Jeremy Schindlbeck, and brother, Orrin “Orrie” Schindlbeck.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at Barber Street School, 105 W. Exchange St., Spring Lake, MI 49456 on Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 1 – 4 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to The VanZantwick Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 620 Washington Ave., Grand Haven, MI 49417.
