Mr. Trumble was a great teacher, patient colleague, and wonderful friend. His easy rapport with students, vast knowledge of all things practical, and teaching methods in the laboratory were worthy of envy. Even today, when designing a lab experience to teach a new topic, I ask myself "how would Mr. Trumble do this?". I will miss our many memorable 'crack of dawn' breakfast meetings. Jerry Brevick

I was saddened to hear about Dale's passing. Gary and I thought a lot of you both and enjoyed the times we were together at the farm. Gary was always anxious to go to the farm and see what the deer hunters had bagged opening day. I still see the family tree you had hung on the living room wall - it really helped to understand how the families came together. My prayers and hugs to all of you at this most difficult time. I know the pain of losing a spouse. But remember that God is always with us no matter what. I am not sure if I can make the funeral or not but my thoughts will be with you. Blessing to you all.

I remember Mr.Trumble, he was coach or PE teacher at Carr Jr. High in and around 1961 and Mrs. Trumble aka Miss Clanahan was my Home Economics teacher! I loved them both. What a team they were. I loved them both. Please accept my condolences.

Dear Jan & family: Dale and Jan have been friends for 60+ years. He exemplified a loving husband and family man all these years. I remember when he and Jan first arrived in Muskegon as newlyweds and pioneer faculty member in the Muskegon Community College Technology Department. He was instrumental in the establishment and equipping of the ‘Tech Wing’ at the new campus in 1967. Dale was devoted to the College, his profession and his students as well as friends and colleagues. His treasures were his ovens, family farm and Platte Lake, all of which he shared with many. Dale was proud of Jan and their children and shared them on his and Jan’s annual Christmas photo. Dale & Pete shared discussions in the plastics industry. Our bond was sharing our mutual birthdays over many years. We pray each of you may feel the peace of God at this sad time knowing that Dale is resting in peace in his heavenly home.
