Dale A. Vanderstelt's Obituary
Dale Alan Vanderstelt, age 67, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 24, 2018 in Bitely, MI. He was born May 4, 1950 in Muskegon to Clarence and Elberta (Launstein) Vanderstelt. Dale worked for Shape Corporation for 18 years prior to retiring in 2013. On April 18, 1970 he married the former Pamela VanDam in Muskegon and had just celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary. Dale loved spending time at his cottage, fishing, hunting, and Jeeping. He had a huge sense of humor and was always making jokes. He also enjoyed spending time with old friends and making new ones where ever he went. Even though he lived with Parkinson’s Disease, he was always busy and always had a project going. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and was so very proud of them. SURVIVORS include his wife of 48 years, Pam; 2 children: Scott (Ashlie) Vanderstelt of Jenison, Kari (Zenon) Maciag of Norton Shores; granddaughter, Bella Rose Vanderstelt; 2 brothers: Don (Sheila) Vanderstelt of Florida, Rodney (Margaret) Vanderstelt of Muskegon; 2 sisters: Patricia (Thomas) Christiansen of Muskegon, and Trudy Kroll of Florida. A MEMORIAL VISITATION for Dale will be held from 2-4 PM Saturday, April 28, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100.
