As I was driving home back to Missouri with my wife I had a lot of time to reflect on my Dad. There were some times that I really didn't like him growing up and some times when I wished I wasn't a part of this family, but as I got older as we all do I knew deep down that he was just like me. We all have good traits and bad traits and if we all took the time to realize that we all have one simple need and that is to be accepted that the world would be a better place. Dad you were and are accepted and I love you and realize that you loved all of us kids the best you could. Mom I appreciate all you did raising seven children a lot of the time alone. You did with out to meet our needs. I am PROUD to be called a BOHLAND and hold my head up high because of the name. I will miss you dad, and your sense of humor has lived on in all of your children. I'll always remember that Dale hated to be called "Red". He had a deeper side and we had many coversations about life - relationships and what it meant. He had a marvelous sense of humor.
